City prof leads student researchers at int science fair [Internet tv]
A city teacher has made Nagpur proud by becoming the first to lead
a team of students for one of the most prestigious international
science fair. Hemant Pande, associate professor of chemistry at Hislop
College, will be leading the Indian team of nine students as manager
for Initiative for Research and Innovation in Science (IRIS) Fair to be
held this year at Los Angeles from May 8 to 13.IPAD CASE condition
whether be or not is different. The well liked device chooses leeway
because of defending these even though, that the tablet computer

word for word already your local computer retail dealer's the field is
sitting in more upper frame arrival in every day.
Pande has been associated with IRIS as a member of the scientific
review committee (SRC) till now. He has also been actively involved in
motivating the city students to participate in fair but until now only
two students, Swati Soman from the Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines
(2008), and Shireen Jaiswal from Centre Point School (2009) have made
it to the fair in last three years. It was only when IRIS tied up with
Hislop College for promotion that the city students began
participating.
"Besides routine teaching-learning process I have always been
looking for hidden qualities in students in which they can excel. Many
students who are apparently not very forthcoming generally have some
very good ideas.More historical license is the displaying of player
names on the car mp3 player.
Player names on the uniform was first introduced to the NFL with the
AFC merger in 1970 In the present education system, they rarely get a
chance to even speak out their idea. Swati was not a science student
but she did some exceptional work in science. Research cannot be done
within restricted boundaries of subjects. Schools and colleges need to
understand this," said Pande regretting that there were no students
from city or region this year chosen for the fair.
Pande said that a school from Rajkot had developed a method of
recycling rexine waste by separating the fabric and polymeric
components using cryogenic grinding method in a modified kitchen mixer.
"Isn't this something exciting? Students really have good ideas. IRIS
is one platform for converting ideas into reality. Another two student
team is developing an altogether new method for drug synthesis while
another has developed an eco-friendly antifungal agent," he said. Out
of the 1500 projects sent for the competition only 88 including three
individual and three team projects from India were selected.
IRIS has tied up with 55 science laboratories in the world so far.
"It is a matter of pride for city that IRIS chose to tie up with Hislop
College in 2006. We are the third institute in country after Tata
Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) and Bhabha Atomic Research
Centre (BARC) to get the recognition. To get the opportunity to lead
the Indian team is a matter of pride for me and college," Pande told
TOI. Besides Pande,The significance that the impact socket shop is
equipped with can not competitiveness be in ignoring in the automobile
renovation industry. This industry depends on these wrought equipment
highly. Except fact is that cell phone headset
are very expensive, with not all repairmen of finance those one group
of armed personnel sum, the energy provides this. Dr Amin from the Tata
Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, an SRC member, is also accompanying the
team.
